Limantepe was established by Didem and Haluk Celikel in 2011 in 1.7 hectar area in Kavacık, Izmir, next to Urla Winery Vineyards . In 2013, it increased total area acquiring the grounds near Central Urla-Sutpinari.
Limantepe’s name dates to 4000 B.C. Area was resided since the Neolithic Age and was one of the earliest and continuous settlements in the Region. It’s location made Liman Tepe one of the most important ports of Olive oil and wine. Limantepe Vineyard will open it’s winery and restorount in 2018.
